Here is a list of Upcoming Events at Celebration Centre & the Bar K Bar Arena;
1). Paddy’s Grill will be OPEN on May 4th and May 18th for Steak Night. They will offer cold drinks, delicious appetizers, hand-cut steaks and more. Find the full menu on the Paddy’s or Celebration Centre’s Facebook page.
2). The Kansas Paint Horse Association will have a Horse Show in the Bar K Bar Arena on May 5th & 6th. This event is FREE to the public and Paddy’s Grill will be open also.
3). Ediger Auction will have a Consignment Auction in the JWJ Hall on May 5th at 9:00am.
4). The Celebration Dance is May 15th in the JWJ Hall featuring the dance music of The Calhoun’s. Dancing starts at 7:00pm til 10:00pm. Admission is a $6.00 suggested donation and bring your favorite snack to share with your friends.
5). American Miniature Horse Registry Horse Show at the Bar K Bar Arena on May 19th & 20th. Paddy’s Grill will be open during the show. The public is welcome to come and watch this FREE event.
6). Kansas Pinto Horse Show at the Bar K Bar Arena on May 26th and the KSHA will be movin’ in to show on May 27th. Paddy’s Grill will be open during the show. Again the public is welcome and this event is FREE.
We want to say thank you to Midwest Energy for providing a monetary gift to RCCF - - we purchased a Freezer for our kitchen. Our thanks to Midwest Energy for investing back into the community. We appreciate your support.
We have been busy getting the Bar K Bar Arena ready for the Horse Show Season - - electrical drop downs have been completed down the center alley over the stalls. We are hoping this will keep our four legged friends a little cooler during their stay here at the Arena
We are so excited about the work being accomplished to the southwest of The Centre on our “Family Park”.
Volunteers have been clearing trees and cleaning up the area and we are very grateful for their help. Keep an eye on our progress and if this is something that interests you, we would enjoy your help. You can also contribute by making a donation to the Foundation in honor or memory of a family member or friend as we continue to solicit donations for playground equipment. If you are looking for a way to honor a special volunteer, a mentor or a teacher - you could sponsor a park bench. It’s also a great way to advertise your business! We are looking for basketball goals, horseshoe sets and volleyball nets, if you have any of the above items that are still in good shape, we would love to have them. We received 1 set of Horseshoes and appreciate that donation. Stop by and take a look at what we are doing.
Celebration Centre is looking forward to all the upcoming Graduations, whether Middle School, High School or that long awaited College Graduation, we wish all our graduates the very best as they embark on new adventures. Keep The Centre in mind if you are organizing your Family Reunions for this summer, we will have lots of fun things for your family to do when the horseshoe pits and the sand volleyball court is completed along with the children’s playground – it is a work in progress!!
